About Us


Vision Special School has been established for serving Children with Special Needs (CWSN) under the aegis of Society for Research & Development in Education (SRDE).The Society has been established as a not-for-profit body and is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, Persons with Disability Act of 1995, National Trust and Income Tax Act of 1961. The society has also been exempted under section 80 G and 12AA. Vision Special School owes its genesis to its sister organization in the same name i.e. Vision special school, Delhi which is running in village Razapur, Rohini, Delhi being managed and operated on a to-day basis by Smt.Kusum Aanchal Gupta w/o Sh. Mukesh G Gupta.She is a Special Educator registered with Rehabilitation council of India in the field of Mental Retardation. Vision Special school, Faridabad is being led by Smt. Sarita Bhardawaj (parent of an autistic child) and mentored by Prof.C.L. Kundu, former VC of HP University, Shimla and Advisor to Rehabilitation council of India, Govt. of SRDE, who is a resource person and consultant with central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and also the founder of National Aptitude Test –NAT being used by several hundreds of universities/Schools and Institutions.

The school is not taking recurring grant from any private of Government body. The School has been recently supported by Rotary Club for establishing its Physiotherapy unit to add to the existing services of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Audiology center apart from clinical Psychology, guidance & counseling center, Recreational and vocational center which is regularly training and selling material on occasions of diwali, Raksha Bandhan, Christmas among others. The Vision Special School is operating out of society’s own building at NH-2, Faridabad built. Ten rooms more will be dedicated to the school by the end of this year. Special Educations working in the school are registered with Rehabilitation council of India and have a CRR No..The school is the one of the most popular with the local social Welfare Office as it is serving all categories of children including Mental Retardation, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hearing Impairment, cerebral Palsy among others except visual Impairment as of now. Children from BPL families are given uniforms, mid-day meal, transport and training and education for fees starting from NIL onwards. Based on the ability to pay; the fees is charged which also makes the parents serious for their Children.

The objective of Vision Special School is to motivate, train, educate & have the Special Children included in the society in a better and effective manner. Parents, Special Educators and other Stake-holders are sensitized about the intricacies in field. Advocacy, fellowship and Resources are shared for better enabling and facilitation.
